Born 2 Feb 1775 in Baltimore, MD. Died 27 July 1867, aged 92 years, 5 Months & 25 Days.

Baltimore Merchant, City Board of Trade Director, Jurist.

Location: Green Mount Cemetery in Baltimore, MD. Area H, Lot 53.

Service Notes:

The First Regiment of Artillery of the 3rd Brigade, 3rd Division of the Maryland Militia was commanded by Lt. Colonel David Harris (1769-1844), consisting of ten companies of 70 men each, composed of men of standing in Baltimore’s society. During the Baltimore campaign of September 1814 they were distributed among the defenses at Hampstead Hill, The Battle of North Point and defense of Fort McHenry. Read More…
