George Yellott was born 13 Oct 1775 in Dodworth, South Yorkshire, England to John and Hannah Ann (Hattersley) Yellott. Emigrated to Baltimore, MD with is parents in 1795. George married Bethia Burrell, daughter of Dr. William and Elizabeth Burrell at Bourbon Furnace, Bath County KY, on 18 Apr 1805. George died in Baltimore on 17 Apr 1818. He was initially interred in the Old St. Peters Burial Ground; his remains were removed to Green Mount Cemetery along with several other family members in Oct 1856. Bethia would return to New York and pass away on 7 Aug 1838. She was interred in the Quaker Burial Ground in Brooklyn alongside her parents and other family.
