Pvt. Asahel Hewitt

Asahel Hewitt was born to Elmer and Elizabeth (Hunt) Hewitt in Baltimore on 19 Feb 1832. He would marry Catherine Jane Hartman on 23 Sep 1851. Catherine would die just two years after their 5th child in 1862. After moving about the mid-west for many years with his family, Asahel would return to Baltimore around 1880. He died in Baltimore on 22 Mar 1903.
