Member and Marshall of the “Old Defenders” Association of Baltimore.

One of the last surviving members of the association.

Master Brick Mason by trade.

Deacon at First Christian Church, Paca & Lombard Streets.

Youngest child of William and Ann (Bond) Wheeler, born 15 Nov 1799 in Baltimore. Married Mary Moody in 1824, fathering seven children.
